Ursa Marketing’s Mandate for O-Volt Amusement Centers
In 2018, O-Volt opened its first indoor amusement center in the heart of Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Its mission: to get both young and old alike moving in a safe and welcoming environment.

The center was an instant success. This led to the opening of a second center in Blainville in 2019, followed by the first franchise in Trois-Rivières in 2023.
In 2021, O-Volt contacted Ursa Marketing to optimize its online presence.
Our mandate: build O-Volt’s brand awareness in Quebec. To achieve this goal, we created digital strategies and marketing tactics that are not only increasing the brand’s visibility and discoverability online, but also promoting its products and services to boost revenue.
Challenges Related to the Mandate
The amusement center industry is highly competitive. Our team had to build a solid SEO strategy to enhance O-Volt’s organic indexing and secure a high ranking in search engines against popular competitors.
Moreover, at the start of our mandate, the company was still relatively young and only recognized locally. We needed to strengthen O-Volt’s brand awareness more widely among families.
Digital Marketing Strategies and Tactics Implemented
We developed a comprehensive strategic approach incorporating various tactics to address the challenges related to O-Volt’s mandate.
SEO
We assisted O-Volt in migrating its website to a new platform to optimize SEO performance.
We conducted complete audits to ensure the migration went smoothly and that the company’s organic ranking in search engines was not negatively impacted. We guided the team in implementing certain configurations to ensure the new website was robust and performed as expected.
We also carried out in-depth keyword research, created SEO tags, and optimized the content of each page by incorporating key terms. These efforts aim to strengthen O-Volt’s online presence and improve its discoverability in search results.
Additionally, we helped optimize O-Volt’s Google Business Profile listings to boost visibility during local searches. We also deployed a publication strategy.
Advertising Campaigns
We initially launched impactful brand awareness campaigns on popular advertising platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads to increase local visibility for each O-Volt location.
By carefully selecting and testing different audiences, we were able to optimize targeting and deliver significant results for O-Volt in terms of online sales.
As a result of these actions, several active advertising campaigns across various platforms are generating excellent results. Timely campaigns help fill group class sessions, day camps, and special events. We even increased the brand awareness of O-Volt Sherbrooke in the Vermont market!
Bi-weekly boosted posts are raising awareness of O-Volt’s various services, such as motor skills development for young children and personal growth through trampoline techniques. These campaigns are helping to attract new followers on social media while boosting online sales.
Website and Performance Metrics
We are currently assisting the O-Volt team in implementing comprehensive performance metrics for their platforms, including setting up a server-side container to collect data in a Cloud server. We also supported the team in implementing a consent management system on their sites to comply with Law 25.
