Role description
As a digital marketing strategist, your role will be to design, implement, measure and optimize profitable digital marketing strategies for your clients.
You will be their trusted advisor and a key point of contact throughout mandates, from strategic thinking to results analysis.
In short, you will be there to advise your clients, make their brands shine and generate concrete, measurable results across digital channels.
You will also contribute to the team’s development by sharing your expertise, supporting new strategists and taking an active part in our learning culture.
Your main responsibilities
- Understand your clients’ goals and challenges to build digital strategies suited to their reality
- Design and deploy digital campaigns on various platforms
- Manage, analyze and optimize campaigns to maximize their performance
- Set up and configure performance measurement for campaigns, ad accounts and websites
- Use Google Tag Manager and measurement tools to ensure reliable data collection
- Build dashboards and track key performance indicators
- Analyze results and make data-driven recommendations
- Advise your clients proactively and make complex digital topics easy to understand
- Plan and lead client meetings and present the progress of mandates
- Provide rigorous follow-up with each of your clients: it’s our trademark!
- Plan and lead training workshops for clients
- Support new strategists through their onboarding and development
- Take part in team meetings, knowledge sharing and strategic monitoring
- Stay on top of digital marketing news, trends and best practices
Secondary and occasional tasks
Because in an agency, no two days are quite alike:
- Support clients with special mandates related to their website
- Take part in migration projects or feature additions
- Write blog articles
- Set up newsletter platforms
- Contribute to visual content creation for certain campaigns
- Help plan editorial calendars
We expect you to meet these requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns in a similar role
- University education in marketing, communications, IT or a related field
- Good understanding of digital marketing and its technical mechanics
- Experience with various digital advertising platforms, especially Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Good understanding of performance indicators, data analysis and return on investment
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and digital measurement tools
- Basic understanding of organic search (SEO) and how search engines work
- Good understanding of what social media platforms can offer
- Knowledge of e-commerce and newsletter platforms, an asset
- Experience in an SMB, a considerable asset
- Google Ads / Analytics certifications, an asset
- Meta Blueprint certification, an asset
- Genuine interest in digital marketing and a drive to stay on top of trends
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English to consult reference documentation and communicate with some English-speaking clients
